A- still wrong, so I said nothing but that she did not need wait for me, and off she went to my great relief.
A- brought me a letter to read – she had written to Mr Parker about taking some fixtures at Brook’s at Hipper Holme etc and she (and we) afterwards talked a little and she was coming round. I have been grave ever since but have talked and calculated for her about her farming – have perhaps seemed too good. She cannot bear spoiling. However, I shall not forget this and not be too, or put her, much at ease in a hurry.
